Black Hills Climbing Club and blackhillsclimbingclub.com were founded by a small group of climbers who regularly visit and climb in the Needles area of the Black Hills.  BHCC members range in age from 4 to 67 and climb routes from 5.2 to 5.13.  Some of us climb in the Needles more than one hundred days each year.  Some of us are here year round and we always welcome visitors to the area.

Black Hills Climbing Club provides top-notch Needles area information, route beta, an online climbing blog, and a photo gallery.

We intend to use this site to feature "new" routes, routes that have appeared over the past few years and are not included in any existing guide book.  We will offer downloadable guides to these new routes in the coming weeks and months.  Look at our Route List page for a preview of new routes to be included in these guides.  Meanwhile, feel free to offer any information you have regarding new routes we are not aware of and ask us for beta and directions to routes that interest you.

Our site is brand new in late 2004 so be patient while it grows.  Feel free to offer information, comments and photos to help it grow.
